Description of problem:
Hello,

I really like the SimpleWelcome launcher, very handy and I can see how it can be one of the core ROSA characteristics.

Here's something I would like to see: make a nice keyboard shortcut for it; something obvious and easy to use like the Windows button.

Having to use the mouse to launch SimpleWelcome can waste some time... it gets even worse when I have to use the touchpad ...

Hello.

You can use ALT+F1 to open SW (unfortunately you should to open rosa-launcher manually at first time). If you want to use other key you can change it by clicking by right mouse button to avatar and select 'A ROSA Launcher settings'. Unfortunately you it is not possible to select a 'Win' button - KDE doesn't allows to do this.

Also you can manage SW only from the keyboard:

ALT+F1 open;
Tab - go to launchers;
CTRL+Tab - switch to next tab.

Denis,

Thanks a lot for the explanations! Alt+F1 is fine with me, as long as I don't have to use the mouse.

And sorry for polluting the bugzilla which such questions. You guys should prepare some user support site, like a forum (in English) or a OSQA instance; or rosa-users. :)

Hello J,

Thanks for the link; now try to do a mental exercise for me:
- imagine Cyrillic alphabet is totally meaningless to you, you have never understood it, never learned it, it will be a big enigma for the rest of your life, just like Simplified Chinese. :-)

Now visit again the link you gave me. :-)

Listen, I totally get why everything is in Russian, for your agenda it might be more than sufficient and that's fine, you never needed another language. But if you want to go world-wide ... it's just not enough.
Sorry for getting off-topic.

Nux,
you're totally right. May be we'll do it that way first: could you please fire a new bug about this issue, just to have a proper place to discuss all the details?
I'm a community manager in ROSA, btw, so let's start communicate :)
