Also ldetect-lst was updated to support setup this driver via XFdrake The starting sound on my x64 test system interrupted after ldetect update... I checked four times - it's just depends on the upgrade. This is not a big problem, but may be an indicator of some other trouble. In testing... This is not ldetect problem - on it only ati videocard part was been changed. May be said HDMI Audio on ATI cards? 1. I install x11-server-1.13.2-1 + ldetect-lst-0.1.317-1 2. Reboot 3. Run XFdrake and install automaticaly fglrx-legacy-13.1 4. Reboot 5. Fail... I attached Xorg.0.log Also, i try enable DRI and... the same. Fail... I attached Xorg.0.log-DRI-on ============== [root@mindlife pastordi]# lspcidrale -v | grep DISPLAY_VGA bash: lspcidrale: команда не найдена [root@mindlife pastordi]# lspcidrake -v | grep DISPLAY_VGA Card:ATI Radeon HD 2000 to HD 4870 (radeon/fglrx-legacy): Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI|RS880 [Radeon HD 4250] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:1002 device:9715 subv:1458 subd:d000) [root@mindlife pastordi]# [root@mindlife pastordi]# rpm -qa | grep -i -E "fglrx|x11-serv|ldetect" lib64ldetect0.12-0.12.6-2-rosa2012.1.x86_64 ldetect-0.12.6-2-rosa2012.1.x86_64 x11-server-common-1.13.2-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 ldetect-lst-0.1.317-1-rosa2012.1.noarch x11-server-xnest-1.13.2-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 x11-server-xorg-1.13.2-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 dkms-fglrx-legacy-8.97.100.7-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 fglrx-legacy-control-center-8.97.100.7-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 x11-driver-video-fglrx-legacy-8.97.100.7-1-rosa2012.1.x86_64 [root@mindlife pastordi]# [root@mindlife pastordi]# ============= Created attachment 1125 [details]

It's regression? (In reply to comment #9) > It's regression? It is difficult to say. As before this driver was not working. Also X-server is not started. Now a similar situation. (In reply to comment #5) > May be said HDMI Audio on ATI cards? I have Intel hd4000 system. AMD is ugly developers - new driver is broken :( https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/3627/how-to-install-updated-amd-catalyst-legacy-131 (In reply to comment #12) > AMD is ugly developers - new driver is broken :( > > https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/3627/how-to-install-updated-amd- > catalyst-legacy-131 A sad... :( SHould this update be published or not ? (In reply to comment #14) > SHould this update be published or not ? I would not publish. Close with appropriate status. These drivers have never appeared in our repos. |
