Description Andrey Ponomarenko 2014-10-01 10:09:09 MSK
Description of problem:

Two connections via both Ethernet and WiFi block internet connection at all (can't ping any host or download anything).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ROSA Fresh R4

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Disconnect Ethernet, unplug network cable
2. Connect to WiFi
3. Insert the network cable immediately after any slow urpmi command that uses network (remove/add media or installing a big package). For example:

$> sudo urpmi.removemedia
$> sudo urpmi.addmedia --distrib http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/rosa2014.1/repository/x86_64/

4. The network will be blocked when inserting the cable and the currently executed command will hang. You cannot use internet anymore until you disconnect from Ethernet or WiFi:

$> ping rosalab.ru

Maybe this bug http://bugs.rosalinux.ru/show_bug.cgi?id=4488 is the same?
